Senior Trade Finance & Commodity Operations Manager (Hindi Speaker)

About the role

Black Pearl Consult is looking for a highly experienced Senior Trade Finance & Commodity Operations Manager who speaks Hindi, based in Dubai. The role suits someone with a strong track record managing LC-backed international commodity trades across Africa, the Middle East and Asia, covering trade finance structuring, bank negotiations, documentary compliance and end-to-end execution of complex transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Structure, negotiate and execute sight and usance Letters of Credit (LCs) with annual volumes exceeding USD 400 million.
• Lead negotiations and maintain relationships with regional and international banks, including African financial institutions.
• Manage LC discrepancies, confirmations, amendments and discounting to ensure timely execution and cash flow.
• Support international trading of metals, agricultural commodities and energy products, coordinating commercial, financial and operational elements.
• Align commercial contracts with LC terms and manage CFR, CIF and FOB contracts under Incoterms.
• Prepare, review and verify LC-compliant shipping and trade documentation, and coordinate with banks, inspection agencies, insurers, logistics providers and traders.
• Ensure compliance with UCP 600, international trade regulations and applicable sanctions frameworks.

Required profile

• Experience handling LC-backed commodity trades with annual volumes above USD 400 million.
• Ability to lead negotiations with banks and manage LC discrepancies, confirmations, amendments and discounting.
• Proficiency in UCP 600 and Incoterms.
• Hindi speaking.
