Service Specialist II – GBA

About the role

Halliburton is seeking an experienced Service Specialist II – GBA to join its operations in Abu Dhabi. The role involves managing the rigging, set‑up, testing and operation of service line equipment for both on‑shore and offshore projects while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all phases of rigging up and down of service line equipment at work locations.
• Plan and coordinate equipment set‑up, well‑site direction and customer‑related support activities.
• Maintain, test, and operate equipment at customer sites and field camps.
• Mentor and train lower‑level Service Operators and Operator Assistants.
• Monitor instruments, perform calculations, and ensure data quality.
• Consult with customers, promote good relations, and verify equipment against job plans.
• Conduct pre‑job toolbox safety meetings and manage any required changes.
• Complete all required documentation and job reporting.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of oil‑field drilling experience.
• At least 4 years of underbalanced drilling and/or managed pressure drilling experience.
• Met the competency requirements for Service Specialist II – GBA.
• Basic mathematical, reading and writing skills.
