Site Engineer - BMS Projects

About the role

Khidmah is looking for a Site Engineer for BMS projects who will execute and supervise BMS installation, integration, testing and commissioning on site, coordinating with subcontractors and project teams. The role requires mandatory knowledge of Tridium Niagara N4 and delivery of work safely, on schedule and to approved standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise subcontractors and technicians on BMS installation and integration according to approved shop drawings and project schedules.
• Manage PTW, risk assessments, method statements, inspection requests, site reports and work documentation.
• Coordinate installation of DDC/control panels, controllers, sensors, actuators, meters, field cabling, containment and network equipment.
• Inspect panel installation, power and control wiring, termination, labeling, earthing and workmanship.
• Use Niagara N4 for station navigation, point mapping, status checks, alarms, trends and basic troubleshooting.
• Support BACnet IP/MSTP and Modbus TCP/RTU integration, addressing and communication checks.
• Review I/O schedules, control schematics, network diagrams and shop drawings with the engineering team.
• Coordinate point-to-point testing, field-device calibration, functional testing and commissioning.
• Track daily progress, materials, quality, punch lists and delays, and report to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate with MEP contractors, consultants and client representatives, and support as-built drawings, test sheets, commissioning records, O&M documents, training and handover.
• Follow HSE procedures, permit conditions and site standards, and comply with company information security policies.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Automation or a related engineering discipline.
• Preferred: 3-6 years of project-site experience in BMS installation and commissioning.
• Mandatory practical experience with Niagara N4 station operation, point integration or troubleshooting.
• Experience with HVAC controls, DDC panels, sensors, actuators and BMS testing and handover is preferred.
