Site Engineer – Sustainable Engineering Projects

About the role

PACTIVE is looking for a Site Engineer to oversee and execute sustainable engineering projects at its Abu Dhabi location. The role ensures that site operations follow project schedules and quality standards while supporting eco-friendly solutions and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate day-to-day engineering activities on site, keeping to project schedules and quality standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement sustainable solutions.
• Interpret and apply CAD drawings to guide construction and installation.
• Schedule and monitor preventive maintenance of HVAC, BMS and CCTV systems.
• Maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Drive energy management and waste management initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Document progress and prepare detailed reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field; professional certification or license in site engineering or facilities management is highly advantageous.
• Substantial experience in site engineering within sustainable solutions or facilities management.
• Strong organizational skills, proactive approach and commitment to safety standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency in interpreting complex CAD designs.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, BMS and CCTV system controls.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance scheduling and waste management systems.
• Hands-on experience with modern technology platforms and data tools for building management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
