Site Merchandiser - Beauty (Maternity Cover, 6-Month Contract)

About the role

Chalhoub Group, a luxury retailer with over 10 owned brands and more than 950 stores, is hiring a Site Merchandiser for its Beauty business in Dubai. This is a 6-month maternity cover position focused on managing online product catalogues, merchandising and e-commerce coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Catalogue management: create, manage and remove categories and collections on the website, keep product SKUs and labels consistent with ERP systems, liaise with Brand Teams on launches and ensure promotions are active online.
• Online merchandising: use sales and customer analytics to optimise product display, work with Product and Tech teams to test new features, and keep brand presentation consistent across homepages, landing pages and product pages.
• Optimise product pages (imagery, reviews, cross-sells/upsells, special offers) and filters and menus, and manage homepage banners and content.
• E-commerce trade planning: drive planning with Brand Teams and the E-commerce Manager, own the merchandising calendar, coordinate with Brand, Performance Marketing, Graphic Design and CRM, and forecast stock demand with Supply Chain.
• Reporting: analyse best sellers, category performance and website KPIs, monitor Google Analytics daily and report regularly to Brand Teams.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail for product data integrity and website quality control.
• Commercial awareness of e-commerce KPIs, inventory planning and stock availability.
• Ability to collaborate with Brand Teams, Performance Marketing, Logistics, CRM, Graphic Design and Product/Tech teams, and to present clearly to internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with reporting tools such as Google Analytics and Looker.
• Highly experienced with e-commerce platforms and CMS systems such as SFCC and Shopify.
