Site Supervisor - Interior Fit-Out & Joinery

About the role

Juma Al Majid Holding Group L.L.C. is hiring a Site Supervisor for interior fit-out and joinery works in Dubai. The supervisor oversees daily site activities, manages manpower, coordinates subcontractors and ensures fit-out works follow approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily fit-out activities such as partitions, ceilings, flooring, painting, joinery, carpentry and finishing works.
• Monitor site progress and ensure works are completed on schedule.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, technicians and site workers.
• Ensure works follow approved shop drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
• Read and interpret drawings, layouts and technical instructions.
• Check materials delivered to site and ensure proper handling, storage and usage.
• Maintain daily site reports, work progress updates and material records.
• Coordinate with MEP teams and other trades to avoid clashes and delays.
• Conduct regular site inspections, report progress, issues and delays, and assist with snagging, rectification and handover.
• Ensure health and safety compliance, good housekeeping and proper manpower allocation.

Required profile

• Diploma or technical certification in Civil Engineering, Construction, Interior Fit-Out or a related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience as a Site Supervisor on interior fit-out projects.
• UAE/GCC experience in commercial, hospitality, retail, residential or office fit-outs preferred.
• Experience managing workers, subcontractors and site activities.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of interior fit-out construction and finishing works.
• Good understanding of drawings, materials and construction methods.
• Knowledge of joinery, gypsum works, ceilings, flooring, painting and finishing works.
• Ability to coordinate multiple activities and meet project deadlines.
