Site Systems / Network Engineer

About the role

Probitas is looking for an experienced Site Systems / Network Engineer to manage and maintain its enterprise network and server infrastructure in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, configuration backups, firmware upgrades and health monitoring across network and Windows Server environments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform periodic configuration backups of switches, routers, wireless controllers and firewalls, ensuring integrity and version control.
• Plan and execute firmware/IOS upgrades and Windows Server patching during approved maintenance windows.
• Conduct detailed health checks, monitor CPU, memory, interface status and logs, and troubleshoot Layer 2/Layer 3 issues.
• Support firewall configuration, security patching, and vulnerability remediation.
• Maintain rack organization, labeling, cabling standards and coordinate hardware replacements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in network and system infrastructure support.
• Valid CCNA or HCIA certification and Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
• UAE driving licence.
