Skilled Mason for Luxury Resort

About the role

Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort is seeking an experienced Mason to maintain and enhance the structural integrity and aesthetic appeal of its facilities in Ras Al‑Khaimah, UAE. You will report to the Engineering Supervisor and work closely with engineering and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all masonry work including wall construction, floor work, structural repairs, and demolition as directed.
• Repair wall plaster, renderings, and interior/exterior building walls with precision.
• Install, repair, and maintain wall and floor tiles to meet quality standards.
• Read and interpret shop drawings and specifications, estimating material requirements.
• Maintain civil works, follow preventive maintenance programs, and document work orders and logs.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent with a masonry or civil construction certification.
• Minimum 5 years of professional masonry experience, preferably in hospitality or engineering environments.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and health‑safety practices.
• Physical fitness to work at heights and in varied conditions.
