SmartPlant 3D Administrator

About the role

The SmartPlant 3D Administrator will set up and administer SmartPlant 3D environments for major and smaller projects, ensuring safe, on‑budget, on‑schedule delivery while supporting bids and multi‑discipline collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain project environments, reference databases, and drawing templates in SmartPlant 3D.
• Prepare MTO interface files, clash checks, quality reports and model review files.
• Configure global workshare for MSSQL and Oracle, manage daily backups and audit quality assurance.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors and discipline engineers to resolve SP3D issues.
• Provide training to designers and operators across all discipline modules.

Required profile

• Engineering graduate (BEng, BSc or MSc) in Mechanical or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of engineering design application support in oil & gas/petrochemical industry.
• Experience with ADNOC group is a plus.
• Strong leadership, analytical and proactive approach.

Required skills

• Intergraph certified SmartPlant 3D Designer/System Administrator (preferred).
• Proficiency with SPRD, SPR, Smart Sketch, Navisworks Manage.
• Experience integrating SPP&ID, S3D, SPI, SPEL, SPF and performing Smart 3D upgrades.
• Knowledge of VB(.NET) programming, MSSQL and Oracle queries.
