About the role
The Social Media Specialist at Ajman University will be responsible for managing the university’s social media presence, creating engaging content, and analysing performance metrics to support the institution’s marketing objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and maintain university accounts on Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube, ensuring consistent branding.
- Create persuasive text, images, videos, and infographics for social media posts.
- Monitor trends, audience preferences, and competitor activity to optimise content strategies.
- Respond promptly to comments, messages, and inquiries across platforms.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather stories and content for campaigns.
- Plan and execute paid social media advertising campaigns promoting programmes and initiatives.
- Track and report on reach, engagement, conversions and other performance metrics.
- Maintain relationships with influencers aligned with the university’s brand.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations.
- Minimum three years of experience managing social media platforms and executing tactics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret metrics.
