Software Engineer – Backend (Remote, UAE)

About the role

We are seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high‑impact backend services for secure and scalable digital financial solutions. The role is fully remote and based in the United Arab Emirates, allowing you to collaborate with an international engineering team across multiple time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain robust backend services and applications.
• Own software components throughout their lifecycle, from architecture to production monitoring.
• Build secure, fault‑tolerant, and scalable solutions that support large user bases.
• Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders to solve complex technical challenges.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, including microservices, cloud‑native, and distributed systems.
• Apply modern engineering practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, and continuous delivery.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge‑sharing activities.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in software engineering principles.
• Experience with at least one programming language, preferably Python.
• Comfortable working in a remote, collaborative environment.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and contribute to security‑critical systems.
