Software Engineer (C/C++) – Payment Developer

About the role
We are seeking an experienced C/C++ Payment Developer to join our fast‑growing payments team in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on building and enhancing high‑volume transaction switching platforms that serve both acquiring and issuing ecosystems.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain payment switching applications using C/C++.
- Support end‑to‑end acquiring and issuing transaction flows.
- Troubleshoot routing and processing issues across the payment lifecycle.
- Implement enhancements and new features within the switching infrastructure.
- Collaborate with payment schemes, integration partners and internal teams.
Required profile
- Strong hands‑on experience in C/C++ development.
- Solid understanding of SQL databases.
- Background supporting acquiring and issuing payment platforms.
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex transaction problems.
