Software Engineer – DevOps (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer specialized in DevOps to design, implement and operate enterprise‑grade CI/CD pipelines for banking applications, APIs and digital platforms. The role involves working across Azure and AWS environments to ensure secure, highly available and scalable deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain automated deployment pipelines using GitHub, GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
• Manage application releases on Azure (AKS, App Services) and AWS (EKS, EC2, ECS) with focus on availability, scalability and security.
• Implement DevSecOps controls such as SonarQube quality gates, SAST/DAST scanning, vulnerability management and compliance automation.
• Administer Kubernetes, OpenShift, AKS and EKS platforms and automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, ARM, Bicep or CloudFormation.
• Collaborate with development, security, SRE and architecture teams to ensure reliable delivery of banking solutions.
• Support release management, environment handling, production deployments and incident resolution.
• Automate monitoring, disaster recovery, backup and operational processes.

Required profile

• 5+ years of DevOps engineering experience in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Background in banking, financial services or mission‑critical digital platforms.
• Strong understanding of API and micro‑services deployment strategies.
• Experience with Agile, SRE and platform engineering practices.
• Familiarity with change management, CAB approvals and audit requirements.
