Software Engineer - E-Commerce (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join a leading technology company that powers high‑traffic e‑commerce platforms worldwide. This fully remote, full‑time position focuses on building scalable backend services that enable real‑time user experiences across global markets.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain distributed backend services using modern languages and frameworks.
• Write clean, efficient, and well‑tested code following industry best practices.
• Profile, debug, and optimize system performance and algorithms.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to ship features quickly and reliably.

Required profile

• Strong programming fundamentals and a passion for building high‑performance systems.
• Experience (or academic exposure) with distributed systems, microservices, or cloud‑native architectures.
• Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases and performance tuning techniques.
• Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
