Software Engineer - E-Commerce (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join a leading technology company and work on high‑traffic e‑commerce platforms. The role is fully remote and focuses on building scalable backend services that power real‑time user experiences worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in distributed systems.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and testing standards.
• Optimize system performance through profiling, debugging, and algorithmic improvements.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to ship features.

Required profile

• New‑grad or junior‑level software engineer with a strong foundation in computer science.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while contributing to cross‑functional teams.
• Passion for solving complex technical challenges at scale.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, or cloud‑native development.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases and performance tuning.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
