Software Engineer – E-Commerce (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer to join a leading e‑commerce platform. The position is fully remote and focuses on building high‑performance backend services that power real‑time user experiences for millions of customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in distributed environments.
• Write clean, efficient, and well‑tested code following industry best practices.
• Profile, debug, and optimise system performance and algorithms.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to ship features quickly.

Required profile

• Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Go, Python, or Java.
• Experience with distributed systems, micro‑services, or cloud‑native development.
• Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases and performance tuning.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system‑design principles.
• Experience using version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
