Software Engineer - E-Commerce (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer to join a leading technology company’s e‑commerce team. The position is fully remote and focuses on building scalable backend services that power real‑time user experiences for millions of customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in distributed systems.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and testing standards.
• Optimize system performance through profiling, debugging, and algorithmic improvements.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to ship features.

Required profile

• New graduate or early‑career professional with strong programming fundamentals.
• Experience or academic exposure to distributed systems, microservices, or cloud‑native development.
• Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases and performance tuning.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
• Proficiency with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
