About the role

We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer to join a leading technology company that powers high‑traffic e‑commerce platforms. This full‑time remote position focuses on building scalable backend services that support real‑time user experiences for millions of customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain distributed backend services.
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices.
• Profile, debug, and optimise system performance.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to ship features.

Required profile

• New‑grad or early‑career engineer with a strong foundation in computer science.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, or cloud‑native development.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
