Software Engineer - ElectronJS, Desktop (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a remote Software Engineer specialized in ElectronJS to design, build, and maintain desktop applications. The role involves collaborating with product and engineering teams to deliver high‑quality, performant software for a global technology leader.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cross‑platform desktop applications using ElectronJS, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Design, implement, and optimise new features while ensuring scalability and performance.
• Translate product requirements into technical specifications and clean, maintainable code.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve user‑reported issues and test‑identified bugs.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best‑practice standards.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in ElectronJS and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with Node.js and front‑end frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and event‑driven architectures.
• Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests using frameworks like Jest or Mocha.
