Software Engineer – React Frontend (m/f/d)

About the role

We are seeking a Software Engineer specialized in React front‑end development to design, build and maintain secure, high‑performance mobile banking applications and responsive web portals for our digital banking platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain mobile banking apps using React Native.
• Create responsive web applications and digital journeys with React.js and modern front‑end frameworks.
• Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, architects and backend teams to deliver seamless banking experiences.
• Integrate front‑end solutions with REST/GraphQL APIs, OAuth/OIDC, JWT and enterprise middleware.
• Ensure compliance with banking security standards, secure coding practices and accessibility requirements.
• Optimize performance, scalability and user experience across mobile and web channels.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, testing, troubleshooting and production support.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps processes for automated build, test and deployment.

Required profile

• 5+ years of front‑end engineering experience, including at least 3 years with React Native.
• Background in banking, fintech or digital financial services.
• Strong knowledge of secure coding, regulatory compliance and mobile security (certificate pinning, OWASP Mobile Top 10).
• Experience working in large‑scale Agile and DevOps environments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• React Native, React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript.
• HTML5, CSS3, Redux, Context API, React Hooks, responsive design.
• REST and GraphQL API integration, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT.
• iOS and Android lifecycle management.
• Git, CI/CD, DevSecOps, Agile methodologies.
• Good‑to‑have: Flutter, Kotlin, Swift, Azure, AWS, OpenShift, Kubernetes, containerised deployments.
