Solution Sales Advisor - Security (Global Black Belt)

About the role

The Security Solution Area Team positions the value of Microsoft's cloud security solutions and services for enterprise customers and public sector organisations. As a Solution Sales Advisor, you will drive consumption and grow business with existing strategic customers by initiating conversations, guiding demos and quotes, collaborating with partners and internal teams, bringing industry insights to customer engagements and closing deals. You act as a thought leader advising customers on digital transformation and leads virtual transformational shifts to drive deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Be the security leader and expert for your assigned territory, leading and planning accounts and managing the end-to-end security business.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and meet or exceed sales targets.
• Build and manage key C-level stakeholder relationships, understand budgets, timelines, buying processes and cloud and security initiatives.
• Demo and whiteboard cloud security solutions and architecture, and lead the V-Team from discovery through to proving business value.
• Engage security partners to accelerate the sales cycle and ensure a deployment plan is in place.
• Perform ROI and TCO analysis, use commercial offers and programs to build a business case and close deals.
• Manage sales hygiene through accurate forecasting and deal updates in the sales CRM.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Security or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in technical solution architecture, enterprise sales, business development, strategic or technical consulting, or a relevant industry such as finance, healthcare or retail.
• Several years of experience in technical solution architecture or enterprise sales.

Preferred qualifications

• Relevant technical certifications in cloud technologies or solution architecture, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert.
