Spare Parts Analyst – 22‑month Contract

About the role

Metts is seeking a Spare Parts Analyst to join its Abu Dhabi branch on a 22‑month contract, with the possibility of extension. The role focuses on coordinating and reviewing spare parts documentation for large oil‑and‑gas EPC projects.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with engineering and vendors to prepare and submit spare parts list documents (SPIR, SPDP, etc.).
• Review multi‑discipline spare parts lists (electrical, mechanical, instrumentation) against engineering drawings and specifications.
• Prepare status reports on spare parts lists and present findings in stakeholder meetings.
• Facilitate smooth review and approval processes by liaising with vendors, engineering teams, and other stakeholders.
• Resolve queries or deficiencies identified in spare parts documentation.
• Support hand‑over of approved spare parts to the client for procurement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in any engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in construction of large oil‑and‑gas plants or EPC projects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently and within a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Bill of Materials (BOM) documentation.
• Familiarity with SPIR and SPDP formats.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering documents such as P&ID, GAD, datasheets, and purchase orders.
