Specialist Asset Integrity Engineer – Offshore Project

About the role

KBR is seeking a Specialist Asset Integrity Engineer for an offshore project based in Abu Dhabi. The role supports the company's transformation to Asset Integrity & Process Safety and the implementation of inspection management systems across ADNOC projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an Inspection Management System in line with ADNOC Group Asset Integrity standards.
• Support the adoption of Risk Based Inspection (RBI) methodology and integrate RBI plans into the SAP ERP system.
• Assist asset owners and stakeholders in applying Asset Integrity Management requirements and produce self‑assessment reports for ADNOC Upstream.
• Participate in audits, close findings, and ensure compliance with new RBI plans within the SAP One ERP environment.
• Provide technical support to site FI teams, update inspection task lists for static equipment, and address integrity‑related issues during project VAP stages.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in oil and gas Asset Integrity Management, plant inspection, RBI, and project integrity assurance.
• Hands‑on experience with corrosion risk assessments, material selection, and QC/QA processes.
• Prior work with ADNOC Group companies or GCC projects is preferred.

Required skills

• API 510 – Pressure Vessel Inspector certification.
• API 580 – Risk Based Inspection Professional certification.
• CSWIP 3.2 – Senior Welding Inspector.
• ASNT Level 2 certification (RT, UT, PT, MT).
• Proficiency in SAP ERP (One ERP) for asset register and maintenance task management.
• Strong knowledge of RBI methodology and inspection task list development.
