Specialist Consultant Cardiac Anesthesiologist – UK CCT – UAE Relocation

About the role

We are looking for a highly qualified Specialist or Consultant Cardiac Anesthesiologist with a UK Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role involves providing anaesthetic and peri‑operative care for complex cardiac and cardiothoracic surgeries.

Key responsibilities

• Provide anaesthetic care for cardiac surgeries such as CABG, valve replacement and other high‑risk procedures.
• Conduct pre‑operative assessments, evaluate cardiovascular risk and develop individualized anaesthetic plans.
• Administer general anaesthesia, advanced haemodynamic monitoring and peri‑operative cardiovascular support.
• Perform and interpret transoesophageal echocardiography (TEE) where credentialed.
• Manage intra‑operative complications including haemodynamic instability, arrhythmias and bleeding.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, surgeons, perfusionists and intensive care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required profile

• Recognised medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and UK CCT in Anaesthetics.
• Specialist training and experience in cardiac anaesthesia, with relevant fellowship preferred.
• Eligibility for Specialist or Consultant classification under DHA/DOH/MOHAP and current GMC registration.
• Willingness to relocate to the UAE.
