Specialist Consultant Internal Medicine (UK CCT) – Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Specialist or Consultant in Internal Medicine who holds a UK Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) to join a reputable healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The role involves delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based care to adult patients and managing complex medical conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical assessments, including histories, examinations and symptom evaluation to establish accurate diagnoses.
• Diagnose, treat and manage a broad range of acute and chronic internal medicine conditions across multiple specialties.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on current evidence‑based guidelines and best practices.
• Request, interpret and evaluate laboratory and imaging investigations to support clinical decisions.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care with specialists, nurses and allied health professionals.
• Provide preventive healthcare, health education and lifestyle counselling.

Required profile

• Recognised postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine and UK CCT in General Internal Medicine or a relevant pathway.
• Relevant post‑qualification clinical experience meeting UAE licensing authority requirements.
• Eligibility for Specialist or Consultant classification under DHA, DOH or MOHAP.
• Valid professional registration and Good Standing Certificate where applicable.
