Specialist Consultant Internal Medicine – UK CCT

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Specialist or Consultant in Internal Medicine holding a UK Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) to join a reputable healthcare facility in the UAE. The role involves delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based care to adult patients and ensuring compliance with international clinical standards and UAE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical assessments, including histories, examinations and symptom evaluation to establish accurate diagnoses.
• Diagnose, treat and manage a broad range of acute and chronic internal medicine conditions across multiple systems.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on current evidence‑based guidelines and best practices.
• Request, interpret and evaluate laboratory and imaging investigations to support clinical decisions.
• Manage complex cases, coordinate multidisciplinary care and arrange specialist referrals or admissions as needed.
• Provide preventive health education, lifestyle counselling and screening recommendations.

Required profile

• Recognised postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine with a UK CCT in General Internal Medicine or a relevant specialty pathway.
• Relevant post‑qualification clinical experience meeting UAE licensing authority requirements.
• Eligibility for Specialist or Consultant classification under DHA, DOH or MOHAP, subject to credential assessment.
• Excellent diagnostic, clinical decision‑making and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
• Valid professional registration and Good Standing Certificate where applicable.
