Specialist Consultant Pathologist (Western Qualification)

About the role

SearchPlus HR is recruiting an experienced Specialist Consultant Pathologist to work in leading healthcare facilities in Sharjah, UAE. The role involves delivering high‑quality diagnostic pathology services and supporting multidisciplinary clinical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Examine and interpret tissue samples, biopsies, surgical specimens, cytology specimens and blood films to provide accurate diagnoses.
• Perform or oversee histopathological, cytopathological and other diagnostic investigations and prepare comprehensive reports for treating physicians.
• Provide specialist consultation on complex cases, participate in multidisciplinary meetings and ensure laboratory quality assurance and safety.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
• Post‑graduate specialist qualification in Pathology, Anatomical Pathology, Histopathology or a related subspecialty.
• Western specialist qualification (e.g., UK CCT, American Board Certification) preferred.
• Eligibility for UAE professional licensing.
