Specialist Corporate Finance Financial Reporting

About the role

We are seeking a Specialist in Corporate Finance Financial Reporting to lead the preparation, consolidation and review of our financial statements in line with IFRS and regulatory requirements. The role ensures accurate, timely disclosures and supports both statutory and management reporting across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Support group‑level consolidation, including intercompany eliminations and subsidiary reporting.
• Develop schedules, disclosures and notes required for statutory filings and stock‑exchange reporting.
• Monitor IFRS developments, update accounting policies and ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors, maintain internal controls and address audit findings.
• Produce management reports, board and shareholder materials, and provide performance analysis.
• Enhance the ERP/financial reporting system and drive automation of reporting processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline; professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA or CMA) preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting or external audit, preferably in oil & gas, energy or a large listed corporation.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, corporate accounting policies and stock‑exchange regulations.
• Proven ability to manage complex consolidations and interact with audit teams.
