About the role

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its high‑acuity ICU and multidisciplinary critical care services. The organisation seeks a Specialist Critical Care Physician to join a modern, quality‑driven environment serving a diverse international patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Manage critically ill medical, surgical, trauma and postoperative patients in the ICU.
• Provide organ support including mechanical ventilation, haemodynamic management, renal support coordination and sepsis care.
• Perform critical care procedures such as airway management, central venous access and invasive monitoring.
• Participate in multidisciplinary ICU rounds with consultants, nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacy and allied health teams.
• Communicate treatment plans, prognosis and goals of care to patients’ families.
• Support ICU protocols, infection prevention, clinical audit, simulation training and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Internationally recognised specialist qualification (e.g., American Board in Critical Care, UK CCT/FFICM/MRCP, European Diploma, Royal College Canada, Australian CICM, Arab Board, DM/DNB/FCPS).
• Eligibility for UAE medical licensing and facility credentialing.
• Experience managing high‑acuity ICU patients.
