Specialist Pediatrician – Full‑time in Dubai

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Specialist Pediatrician to join our multidisciplinary team in Dubai. The role involves delivering comprehensive, family‑centred medical care to newborns, infants, children and adolescents.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions in patients from birth to adolescence.
• Conduct well‑child visits, growth and developmental monitoring, and routine health screenings.
• Administer and advise on childhood immunisation programmes in line with UAE guidelines.
• Manage common paediatric conditions such as respiratory, gastrointestinal, infectious and allergic illnesses.
• Identify developmental, behavioural and nutritional concerns and refer to specialists when needed.
• Provide emergency and urgent care within the scope of paediatric practice.
• Counsel and educate parents and caregivers on child health, nutrition and development.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS, MD or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
• Postgraduate qualification or board certification in Paediatrics (MD/DNB/MRCPCH or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of post‑specialty experience in paediatrics.
• Valid DHA licence as a Specialist Paediatrician or eligibility to obtain one before starting.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic or other languages are an advantage.
• Warmth, patience, cultural sensitivity and sound ethical judgement when working with children and families.

Required skills

• Strong diagnostic skills across newborn, child and adolescent populations.
• Experience with UAE health regulations, DHA standards and clinical governance.
