Specialist Project Management

About the role

EDGE is seeking a Project Specialist to support the planning, coordination, execution, monitoring, and control of projects within its Project Management Department. The role bridges clients, internal technical teams, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring projects meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects from contract award through completion and handover, developing and maintaining project plans and schedules.
• Coordinate activities across engineering, procurement, operations, and suppliers, monitoring milestones and resolving issues.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, cost variances, and risk registers, supporting recovery planning when needed.
• Collect and validate progress updates, prepare reports and dashboards, and recommend corrective actions.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, acceptance, and handover activities, ensuring timely closure of punch‑list items.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, etc.).
• Experience managing projects with knowledge of budgeting and cost estimation.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and reporting capabilities.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with MS Project and Power BI for tracking and reporting.
