Specialist – Technology Solutions

About the role

The Business Solution Specialist acts as a subject‑matter expert for defense‑related technology solutions. You will evaluate client requirements, identify compliant suppliers, and orchestrate competitive solutions for weapons, missiles, UAVs, and related subsystems.

Key responsibilities

• Assess client RFP technical requirements and match them with suitable products and solutions.
• Identify, qualify, and evaluate suppliers that meet stringent defense quality standards.
• Conduct technical reviews, supplier evaluations, and bid analysis.
• Collaborate with procurement to develop sourcing strategies for technical components and services.
• Work closely with end‑users and internal stakeholders (BD, bid manager, proposal lead, contract) to define specifications.
• Maintain regular supplier meetings, monitor market trends, and attend industry exhibitions.
• Track market benchmarks for missiles, weapons, radars, UAVs, ammunition, and electro‑optical systems.
• Update tracking sheets on a bi‑weekly, quarterly, and yearly basis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in the defense industry, technical sourcing, or solution management.
• Strong knowledge of defense products such as weapons, missiles, UAVs, ammunition, radars, and electro‑optical systems.
• Proven ability to evaluate suppliers and perform technical bid analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Willingness to travel for supplier meetings and industry events.
