Specialty Account Manager

About the role
The Specialty Account Manager will lead the commercial strategy for specialty therapies within the assigned territory, ensuring patient‑focused scientific detailing, formulary support, and therapy availability while complying with GSK policies and local regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Execute the commercial strategy and territory business plan to meet agreed objectives and patient outcomes.
- Engage regularly with HCPs, institutions and scientific societies to raise disease awareness and promote appropriate use of therapies.
- Monitor monthly territory performance and recommend corrective actions.
- Support the development and rollout of local campaigns, securing required medical and regulatory approvals.
- Gather market intelligence, contribute to forecasting, and coordinate with supply chain to ensure continuity of supply.
- Drive patient support initiatives in line with approved services and local regulations.
- Build long‑term collaborative relationships with key accounts and key external experts.
- Collaborate with market access teams to implement access plans for the territory.
Required profile
- Degree in a science‑related discipline (medicine, pharmacy, life sciences).
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, preferably across multiple therapeutic areas.
- Proven track record of consistent high performance.
- Strong presentation, scientific detailing and commercial skills.
- Experience managing relationships with HCPs, institutions and professional associations.
- Resilient, self‑motivated and able to work under pressure.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
