Staff Nurse – Paediatric Urgent Care

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate Staff Nurse to join our Paediatric Urgent Care team in Ajman. The role involves delivering safe, high‑quality nursing care to children with acute illnesses and minor injuries in a fast‑paced environment. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide family‑centred care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform rapid triage and comprehensive nursing assessments of paediatric patients.
• Deliver evidence‑based nursing care for acute illnesses and minor injuries.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately following paediatric protocols.
• Assist with and perform minor procedures within the scope of practice.
• Monitor patient condition and promptly escalate any concerns or deterioration.
• Provide clear information, reassurance, and education to children and their families.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Adhere to infection control, safeguarding, and patient safety policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Valid UAE nursing licence or eligibility.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in PICU or urgent/emergency care.
• Strong assessment skills and a family‑centred approach.

Required skills

• BLS (Basic Life Support).
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
• PALS (Paediatric Advanced Life Support).
