Stakeholder Coordinator (Infrastructure/Stormwater)

About the role

Parsons is looking for a Stakeholder Coordinator (Infrastructure/Stormwater) based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role coordinates with government authorities, utility providers, developers and other project stakeholders to secure design approvals, permits and NOCs, and keeps track of authority submissions across the project.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with authorities, utilities, developers and stakeholders to obtain design approvals, permits and NOCs.
• Follow up on authority submissions through concept, preliminary and detailed design stages.
• Review engineering drawings, technical submissions and supporting documents against authority requirements.
• Handle NOI requests, utility data collection and existing infrastructure verification.
• Support Concept Master Plan, Detailed Master Plan, traffic approvals, road geometry and utility corridor submissions.
• Identify design conflicts, utility interface issues and approval risks and resolve them with engineering teams.
• Maintain approval trackers, submission registers, correspondence records and stakeholder action logs.
• Attend technical coordination meetings and monitor approval progress, escalating delays to the Stakeholder Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in infrastructure or stormwater projects in Abu Dhabi.
• Proven experience in stakeholder coordination, authority approvals and NOC management.
• Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi municipality requirements, authority procedures and utility coordination.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, utility layouts, road geometry and service corridor plans.
• Arabic speaker preferred; strong English communication, with Arabic an advantage.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office and Excel-based approval trackers.
• Desired: familiarity with DMT/ADM, IDAS, NOC, TPD and utility authority approval processes.
• Desired: working knowledge of AutoCAD and GIS, and experience with master planning and infrastructure design coordination.
