Statistical Analyst & Forecasting Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a highly analytical Statistical Analyst & Forecasting Specialist to transform complex data into meaningful insights, statistical models, and reliable forecasts that support strategic planning and operational decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, organize, validate and analyze large datasets from multiple business sources.
• Develop and evaluate time‑series forecasting models, predictive models and scenario simulations.
• Prepare forecasting reports, dashboards and management presentations.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, investigate variances and continuously refine models.
• Collaborate with data engineering, IT and business stakeholders to improve data pipelines and define forecasting objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Finance or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience in statistical analysis, forecasting and predictive analytics.
• Strong understanding of time‑series analysis, regression, hypothesis testing and model evaluation.
• Ability to translate quantitative findings into clear business recommendations and communicate with non‑technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel (advanced functions and modeling).
• Experience with statistical/programming tools such as Python, R, SQL, SAS or SPSS.
• Knowledge of data visualization platforms like Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience handling large, complex datasets and performing data cleaning and transformation.
