Steward - Food & Beverage

About the role

Rixos, part of Accor, is looking for a Steward for its hotel in Ras Al Khaimah. The role covers dishwashing, kitchen utensil cleaning and general cleaning duties in the Food & Beverage division, with flexibility to rotate between sub-departments and other areas of the hotel. It is a full-time, permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional and efficient service following Rixos standards of performance.
• Clean and wash dishes, pots, pans and other kitchen utensils to performance standards.
• Empty rubbish bins according to garbage schedules.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and keep the work area clean and organised.
• Monitor operating supplies and reduce spoilage and wastage.
• Handle guest and employee inquiries courteously and report guest complaints to supervisors.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, bi-yearly and yearly inventory of operating equipment.
• Attend staff meetings, departmental and hotel trainings, and comply with local legislation.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior stewarding experience preferred.
• Physical stamina and reliability.
• Attention to cleanliness and detail, ability to follow instructions.
