Store Keeper - Parts Store

About the role

Al Tayer Motors is looking for a Store Keeper in Sharjah to coordinate parts procurement from ordering through to stocking, ensuring smooth movement of parts stock from port to store to point of sale. Physical stock must always match book balances.

Key responsibilities

• Receive air and sea consignments from principals (or CPD / IBT) and check the correctness of parts
• Ensure timely binning of parts in the correct location and assign new bin locations for first-time receipts
• Maintain secondary locations for high-volume parts and update stock and generate SRV
• Generate claims for shortages and damages and authorise sales returns and scrap of unsaleable parts after approval
• Schedule and maintain the vehicle fleet, forklifts and other store equipment, and ensure timely deliveries to fleet and credit customers
• Maintain service level data, principal receipts and local purchase data for monthly submission to Finance
• Carry out a perpetual inventory every fortnight and verify physical stock
• Keep the premises safe, secure and clean, following safety, security and health measures

Required profile

• High or intermediate school
• 5 years of experience in stores, or a tertiary qualification in stores or inventory management with 3 years of experience
