Strategic Projects Manager

About the role

Cognita’s People & Culture function is launching an ambitious strategic plan. As Strategic Projects Manager you will own the end‑to‑end delivery of its portfolio of strategic projects, ensuring they land on time, deliver value and become part of everyday practice.

Key responsibilities

• Turn strategic priorities into clear project plans with defined scope, milestones, owners and success measures.
• Run project governance, including status reporting, risk and dependency tracking, prioritisation and escalation.
• Partner with P&C Heads to align initiatives with the people‑process roadmap and sequence them for maximum impact.
• Collaborate with Technology teams to scope, prioritise and deliver HR‑system enhancements and digitisation of people processes.
• Manage external vendors, consultants and implementation partners, tracking deliverables, timelines and performance.
• Track outcomes after delivery to ensure projects realise their intended value and embed into business‑as‑usual.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of progressive experience in project or programme management, HR transformation or HR business partnering, preferably in a large, multi‑country organisation.
• Proven record of delivering multiple strategic initiatives on time, especially in a People & Culture or HR context.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders and technology teams on HRIS implementations or enhancements.
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills, with a collaborative, people‑centred approach.
