Structures Supervisor – Temporary 90‑Day Contract in Abu Dhabi

About the role

This temporary 90‑day contract position on Al Dhafra Air Base in Abu Dhabi involves supervising the inspection, maintenance and repair of a wide range of structural components, including pre‑engineered facilities, tension‑fabric shelters, trailer offices and related metal and fabric systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair doors, roofing, flooring, foundations, gutters and surface coverings.
• Perform metal and fabric repairs, fabrication, welding, oxy/acetylene cutting and corrosion control.
• Execute pavement painting, striping, concrete form work and demolition or refurbishment of existing structures.
• Apply protective coatings, sealants, epoxies, paints and install fencing.
• Carry out interior finish repairs such as acoustic ceiling tiles, sheetrock, drywall and roofing material replacement.
• Inspect and repair masonry (CMU, brick), tile work, ductwork, metal patchwork, roll‑up doors and tension‑fabric systems.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 8 years of construction experience.
• Minimum 5 years of proven leadership in field construction.
• US citizenship required for facility credentials.
• Valid driver’s license, passport and ability to pass contract medical requirements.
• Strong English reading and writing skills.
