Student Supervisor (Immediate Start)

About the role

The Student Supervisor will support the pastoral and administrative functions at Al Shohub British School, ensuring student welfare, attendance, and smooth operation of school events.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff via email, phone, and in‑person.
• Support reception and attendance officers, monitor student whereabouts, and manage attendance data.
• Safeguard student welfare and work with the Pastoral Team on attendance, punctuality, and rewards.
• Collaborate with Assistant Principals, Heads of Year/Key Stage, admissions, housekeeping, IT and external providers for events and processes.
• Maintain accurate pastoral information in systems such as iSAMS, ePraise, CPOMS, and ensure certificates are prepared for assemblies.
• Update and manage pastoral and curriculum handbooks, resource inventories, and assist with end‑of‑term celebrations and conferences.

Required profile

• School leaver certificate or equivalent with GCSE‑level English and Mathematics.
• Previous experience in front‑of‑house, secretarial, clerical or administrative roles.
• Proficient in both English and Arabic (reading, writing, speaking).
• Commitment to the school’s vision, safeguarding children and continuous professional development.

Required skills

• Computer literate: iSAMS, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Canva, CPOMS, SmartPass.
• Strong interpersonal and organisational abilities.
