Style Executive (Housekeeping)

About the role

W Hotels is looking for a Style Executive (Housekeeping) to inspect guest rooms, public areas and the pool after they have been cleaned by the Housekeeper, ensuring quality standards are met. The role also supports Housekeeping management and acts as a liaison between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office and Laundry.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas and the pool after cleaning to check quality standards
• Run sold room reports, verify room status, identify discrepant rooms and prioritise room cleaning
• Update the status of departing guest rooms and prepare, distribute and communicate room assignment changes
• Document and resolve discrepant rooms with the Front Desk and communicate issues to the next shift
• Complete required paperwork and assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counselling, discipline and motivation of staff
• Follow company and safety/security policies, report maintenance problems, hazards, accidents or injuries, and complete safety training and certifications
• Welcome guests, anticipate their needs, assist individuals with disabilities and speak clearly and professionally
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 55 pounds, pushing and pulling carts, standing and walking for long periods, and using computers and point-of-sale systems

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• At least 1 year of related work experience
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience
• No license or certification required
