Supervisor, Pressure Control Equipment

About the role

Parker Wellbore is seeking a Supervisor to lead the management of its consolidated pressure control equipment inventory across international rentals and drilling business units. The role focuses on BOP fleet strategy, certification compliance, and cross‑unit service agreements while ensuring safety and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the combined BOP fleet, set strategy, develop processes and track utilization metrics.
• Consolidate manufacturing and service records across multiple ERP systems and maintain certification requirements by geography and customer.
• Develop and maintain a transferable maintenance and record‑keeping plan for all business units.
• Oversee installation, maintenance and operation of pressure control equipment, ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations and safety standards.
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot systems, and respond to emergency situations with corrective actions.
• Train and mentor junior technicians, coordinate with operations and maintenance teams, and maintain accurate documentation and reporting.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of BOP functions, controls, operations and maintenance.
• Project management experience delivering multiple reliability improvement projects.
• Familiarity with API standards (API‑16A, API‑6AR, API‑6A, API‑16D, API S53, API RP 53, API RP 59) and DNV‑RP‑E101 requirements.
• Ability to perform root‑cause failure analyses and apply Lean methodologies.
• Experience with ERP systems such as TRACS, Oracle or JD Edwards.
• University degree with solid engineering principles for pressure control.
