Supply Chain Lead – AI Infrastructure

About the role

Core42 is seeking a hands‑on Supply Chain Lead to own end‑to‑end sourcing and delivery assurance for AI infrastructure equipment, including GPUs, servers, networking and data‑centre components. The role is execution‑focused, requiring proactive management of high‑pressure delivery environments and strong supplier performance oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Lead RFQ/RFP processes for AI infrastructure hardware such as GPUs, servers, networking and HPC components.
• Conduct commercial negotiations with OEMs and distributors covering pricing, lead times and allocation commitments.
• Translate demand plans into executable sourcing strategies and award contracts.
• Own the full purchase‑order lifecycle from placement to goods receipt and closure.
• Expedite orders, track ETA, and manage long‑lead items in constrained supply environments.
• Establish weekly expediting cadences, supplier reviews and escalation routines.
• Drive supplier escalations, recovery plans and corrective action plans (CAPs).
• Build and maintain dashboards and risk logs, providing weekly executive reporting on delivery status.
• Coordinate with engineering, logistics, finance and site teams to align delivery schedules with deployment plans.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented operator with a strong execution mindset.
• Proven ability to manage complex, high‑pressure delivery schedules.
• Excellent supplier management and escalation skills.
• Experience working in a fast‑moving technology or AI infrastructure environment.

Required skills

• Procurement and expediting of GPU, server and networking hardware.
• Familiarity with data‑centre and HPC components.
• Strong commercial negotiation capabilities.
