System Analyst – Finance Implementation

About the role

Nabors Industries is seeking a System Analyst to support the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance in its Dubai office. The role bridges finance and IT, ensuring the new ERP system aligns with accounting standards, internal controls, and business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in workshops to capture and document finance business requirements.
• Support design and configuration of D365 Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Cost and Project accounting).
• Validate system setup against accounting policies, including chart of accounts, financial dimensions, posting profiles and tax configurations.
• Perform master‑data validation, opening‑balance reconciliation and migration testing.
• Develop and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts, track issues and ensure accurate financial outputs.
• Provide training, create user guides and act as Finance Super User during cut‑over and post‑go‑live support.
• Monitor transactions after deployment, assist in issue resolution and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• Strong accounting knowledge and familiarity with internal control frameworks.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams including Finance, IT and implementation partners.
• Ability to analyse complex financial processes and translate them into system configurations.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive problem‑solving attitude.
