System Engineer – Azure Cloud (Sharjah)

About the role

We are seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team in Sharjah on a six‑month extendable contract. The role is office‑based and focuses on designing, implementing, and managing Azure Cloud environments for our organization.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain IaaS, PaaS and SaaS workloads in Azure.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code solutions for repeatable deployments.
• Configure Conditional Access Policies, manage Intune and administer Office 365.
• Work with containers, Azure Kubernetes Service, Storage Accounts and cloud backup solutions.
• Collaborate with on‑prem teams to integrate VMware, Commvault, Active Directory and related services.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing Azure Cloud services.
• Hands‑on knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and Infrastructure as Code.
• Familiarity with Conditional Access, Intune and Office 365 administration.
• Experience with containers, AKS, storage and backup technologies.
• Exposure to on‑prem infrastructure such as VMware, Commvault, AD, DNS, DHCP and GPOs is an advantage.
