Tax Accountant – Assistant Manager (VAT & Corporate Tax)

About the role

Huda Beauty is looking for a detail‑oriented Tax Accountant at the Assistant Manager level to support tax compliance, operations, and reporting across the group. The role works closely with the Tax Manager, Finance team, and external advisors to ensure accurate filings and robust documentation in multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day tax compliance for VAT, corporate tax, and transfer pricing.
• Prepare and review tax returns, refund claims, and supporting calculations for timely submission.
• Maintain the tax compliance calendar and reconcile tax‑related general ledger accounts.
• Assist with tax provisioning and preparation of schedules for financial reporting.
• Coordinate with external advisors to ensure accurate filings.
• Maintain audit‑ready documentation, including working papers, reconciliations, contracts, and correspondence.
• Review transactional data for correct tax treatment and identify compliance risks.
• Support responses to tax authority queries and audits.
• Monitor regulatory updates and ensure internal processes remain compliant.

Required profile

• Qualified or part‑qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• 3‑5 years of tax compliance experience, especially in indirect taxes and VAT, preferably across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, operational environment.
• Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for handling large financial data sets.
