Tax Manager

About the role

The Tax Manager will act as Global Process Owner for tax across the group, covering corporate tax, VAT and transfer pricing in the UAE, Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus. Reporting to the CFO, the role is based in Dubai with relocation and up to 25% travel.

Key responsibilities

• Own the transfer pricing policy for intercompany goods flows, royalties, management fees and financing.
• Prepare and maintain transfer pricing documentation for each jurisdiction.
• Assess and document the UAE corporate tax position, including free‑zone regimes.
• Establish and manage the corporate tax and VAT compliance calendar across all jurisdictions.
• Calculate, explain and forecast the group’s effective tax rate.
• Manage tax audits, regulatory enquiries and relationships with local tax authorities.
• Oversee external tax advisers, controlling scope, quality and cost.

Required profile

• Eight or more years of tax or accounting experience in a multi‑jurisdictional business.
• Strong transfer pricing experience covering intercompany goods flows, royalties, service charges and financing.
• Working knowledge of UAE corporate tax and free‑zone regimes.
• Professional qualification in tax or accounting, with Big Four or equivalent training.
• Fluent English; Russian and exposure to Russian, Kazakh or Belarusian tax systems are advantages.
