Team Leader - Housekeeping

About the role

Hyatt is looking for a Housekeeping Team Leader to lead and support housekeeping colleagues and help create exceptional guest experiences through leadership, care and attention to detail. The role covers maintaining cleanliness and presentation across guest rooms and public areas, coaching team members and ensuring compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support housekeeping colleagues in delivering Hyatt standards.
• Ensure guest rooms and public areas are kept to the highest level of cleanliness and presentation.
• Conduct room inspections and quality checks.
• Coach, motivate and develop team members.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, respect and care.

Required profile

• Minimum 2-3 years of housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel environment.
• Previous supervisory or team leader experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good English communication skills.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Required skills

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Knowledge of Opera or hotel management systems is an advantage.
