Team Leader - Production

About the role

The Team Leader in the OSD plant will oversee all production activities, ensuring compliance with GMP, regulatory standards and safety protocols while meeting output targets.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise OSD processes including granulation, compression, coating and packaging, and coordinate material flow with supply chain teams.
• Maintain compliance with cGMP, WHO, USFDA, MHRA and other regulations; manage deviations, change controls and audit readiness.
• Mentor and train production staff on SOPs, GMP and safety procedures, and monitor performance.
• Ensure equipment calibration, maintenance and identify process improvement opportunities to reduce costs.
• Conduct risk assessments, enforce safety measures and oversee waste handling according to environmental norms.

Required profile

• B.Pharm / M.Pharm / M.Sc. in Pharmaceuticals, Chemistry or related field.
• 6‑10 years of OSD pharmaceutical manufacturing experience, with 2‑3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Required skills

• Operation and troubleshooting of OSD equipment such as granulators, tablet presses, coating machines and blenders.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, cGMP and regulatory compliance.
